How we check sources
Trust is earned one reference at a time. Here is exactly how each article is made.
1. A simple, everyday subject
We choose topics from daily practice that Muslims broadly agree on: prayer, remembrance, good character, family, hope. We do not write about questions where the schools of thought differ, and we never give rulings.
2. Sources before writing
We only quote:
- The Qur'an, with the surah and verse number and the Arabic text where useful.
- Hadith from well-established collections, mainly Sahih al-Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, with the collection name and hadith number.
English meanings of verses come from the Sahih International translation unless stated otherwise. Hadith translations follow the ones published on sunnah.com.
3. Drafted with AI
A first draft is written with the help of AI (Claude, made by Anthropic). The draft must include a reference and a link for every verse and hadith it mentions. An article without sources cannot be published: the website itself refuses it.
4. Read and checked by Hiba
Before anything goes online, Hiba rereads the article and opens every link to compare the quote with the source. Only then is the article marked as reviewed. Unreviewed drafts never appear on the site.
5. Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it and the article shows the date it was updated. You can always check a reference yourself: every one of them is a link.
